Run by Neil and Gill, fresh bread and croissants are available daily as are all the basic necessities. There is even a comprehensive range of videos and DVDs to hire. St Mabyn itself is situated perfectly to explore this beautiful area of Cornwall with Padstow and the world famous Seafood Restaurant owned by celebrity chef Rick Stein, within easy reach. The now famous Eden Project is a short drive away as are The Lost Gardens of Heligan. Lanhydrock and numerous other places of beauty and interest. For the more sporting, the famous surf beach of Polzeath is 15 minutes by car. Port Isaac, probably everyone's idea of the classic Cornish fishing village is also within a short drive of the cottage.
