The villa is around 5 years old, owned and meticulously maintained since bought from new. It is situated on the La Finca Golf development, a championship standard course (rumoured to be hosting the Spanish Open in 2009). There are 3 bedrooms - two twins on the ground floor, sharing a bathroom, and a lovely master bedroom on the first floor with ensuite shower and dressing room. All three bedrooms have ample wardrobe space. The master suite has direct access onto the south-west facing circular solarium through sliding patio doors. The solarium is very private, ideal for sunbathing as it is in full sun from mid-morning. There is plenty of room for loungers as well as a dining table which comfortably seats six. Downstairs, the open plan living/dining room has access onto the lower terrace, again ideal for al fresco dining. The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, full size cooker and hob as well as plenty of crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment. The villa is part of a small community within the development which includes a number of friendly, permanent residents. Our community has a very well-maintained swimming pool and formal garden for all to enjoy. If you want to play golf, La Finca is but a short walk (or buggy drive!) from the villa. Green fees vary according to season & the time of day you wish to play, and represent good value considering the high quality of the course. Rates start at around £10/day for a small hatchback in low season. Even for 10 days' hire of a 7-seater Dodge in high season last year, the cost was no more than £250. There's plenty to do and see locally. Two favourite beaches, at Pilar de la Horedada and Santiago de la Ribera, are shown in the photo album. The local Sunday market is great for, well, basically everything - but particularly local produce which is of superb quality and nothing like the 'sanitised' fruit and veg we are so used to in the UK.
