The farmhouse, divided into one beautiful stone cottage and 4 apartments, positioned on the slopes of one of the many hills that gently descend towards the Arno river.. Its location is particularly privileged since it offers peace and tranquillity and also the possibility of making fast and easy trips to the most interesting art cities of central Italy.. The house is surrounded by a large garden area equipped with tables, chairs and canopies, where the swimming pool of 7 x 12 metres is situated, with a part for children (3x3 metres). The apartments have been tastefully furnished and are all provided with satellite TV. Laundry room with washing machine available for common use. Barbecue.It is possible to rent the whole farmhouse, or each apartment separately.

Few kilometers from our houses is the ancient hamlet of Laterina with its perfectly preserved town center and ancient castle, the scene of fierce battles fought between the Municipality of Arezzo and the Florentine Republic. the farmhouse is located on the slopes of one of the many hills which make up the foothills of the high peaks of Pratomagno and which at this point gently descend towards Arno river. Shopping is easy, 3 km from the houses there is the small village of Laterina, where you will find small nice foos shops, but if you prefer the supermarkets there is one in Levane, and a bigger one in Montevarchi, only 20 minutes away. There are also many open markets that take place on different week days.
The area is full of restaurants and small trattorias, where you will be able to taste the many different dishes of Tuscan cuisine. If you wish to do some serious shopping we are close to many important outlets: such as Prada, Gucci and many others.
The nearest train station is in Montevarchi, and to take the train is the best way to go to Florence. For nature lovers the opportunities are many, since the natural oasis reserves offer many different excursions: from simple walking to hiking. You can also rent bikes to follow the many trails around here. Distance to some places: Arezzo 18 km away, Florence 80 km, Siena 45 km, lake Trasimeno and Cortona 80 km. Coming here you will be able to discover a wonderful, even if less known part of Tuscany. Near Laterina and our houses there is of the most beautiful natural protected area of Valdarno superiore: "Oasis di Valle dell'Inferno and Bandella"; where you can walk hiking,do birdwatching and discover a still uncontaminated nature.There from 2006 there will be Guides at your disposal .Following the old etruscan road called "la 7 ponti", you will have the chances to visit many beautiful villages, full of history and fascination, and to discover one of the most interesting and breathtaking natural landscape created by nature:"Le Balze" the crags, where the forces of natural elements have carved over centuries, the hills ,to create one wonderful natural scenery.
Here in the "Valdarno Superiore – Upper Valdarno" you can still breeze the old Tuscan spirit.
