| RENTAL RATES Regular Rates (for 5 to 8 people occupancy) are:
$350 per night from December through March;
$300 during April, May, Sep, Oct, and Nov;
$350 during June, July, and August;
$325 for Thanksgiving holiday period;
$400 for winter holiday periods (Christmas/New Year's, President's Day weekend, M.L. King Day weekend);
$350 for summer holiday periods (Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day weekends).
While this home comfortably allows 8-people occupancy (4 BR, 3-1/2 BA),
we extend a strong incentive to small parties.
You will -- regardless of the season -- receive a discount of:
$25 per night if your party is 4 people;
$50 per night if your party is 3 people;
$75 per night if your party is 2 people.
2 nights minimum rental (more during holiday periods)

There are numerous spectacular hiking and biking trails and rock climbing possibilities nearby -- leave your car in the garage of "Alta Vista" and walk 400 yards to the trail head of the Donner Ridge trail system (OK for mountain biking)! In winter, put on your cross country skis or snow shoes at the door steps of Alta Vista, set your GPS, and discover miles and miles of high Sierra trails. Warm up in the sauna, jacuzzi tub, or hot tub/spa (all with spectacular mountain vistas!) after a day of outdoor activities.
The Alta Vista home was built in 1998 and recently expanded. The panoramic vistas are maximized from every room and large wrap-around decks on two levels. It features 4 bedrooms (two master bedrooms), 3 1/2 baths, and has approximately 2100 sq.ft. living area. The main level has two bedrooms (one with a Q and one with two T beds), each with sliding glass door access to a large view deck, a bathroom, a hallway with an additional comfortable futon bed, and a three-car garage. The family room with adjacent dining room and kitchen, as well as an extra-large master bedroom (with K bed, large window seat, and reading area), and large deck are on the upper level.A second master bedroom/bath with a jacuzzi is available on the lower level.
The home features wall-to-wall carpets and vaulted ceiling. The downstairs master bedroom is tiled and features radiant floor supplemental heating.
Large view windows, comfortable furniture, a (gas) fireplace, and decor will contribute to making your stay pleasant and memorable. The kitchen is large and well equipped with modern appliances. A gas-fired grill is available on the upper deck. The stunning vistas, the privacy setting, and the extraordinary amenities of Alta Vista will make your stay in this home especially pleasant.
