There are several bars and restaurants ( three English owned) and several small, family owned supermarkets. There are no nightclubs or all night bars. The property is situated on the side of a hill overlooking the beach, mountains and the village. It is also on the edge of a nature reserve consisting of pine trees and rocky crags. Wild mountain goats are often seen. Dolphins can often be seen in the bay.
