The property is in 5,000 sq mtrs of private land which consists of moorish terraces laid to olive, apricot, orange and other fruit trees. During the season you are welcome to pick your own lemons for that gin and tonic. The house is surrounded by approximately 400 sq mtrs of flat terrace with an 8 x 4 mtr pool which is child friendly, with outside shower. There is an external BBQ and outside kitchen with hot/cold water plus fridge. The guest has the option outside to sit in sun or shade, there is a high degree of privacy. Internally the house is open plan with high vaulted ceilings to ensure you are cool even in the height of summer. The nearest large town is Callosa d'en Sarria 3 kms distance, population 3,000. The village of Bolulla, population 300, can just be seen from the house. It is quaint, very old world and very spanish, this is where we live. There are 2 bar/restaurants and a small food shop. The Bolulla valley has substantial cultivations of all types of fruit trees and is an agricultural community as is the surrounding zone. Inland is the famous mountain village and lake of Guadalest, a very famous attraction with the Spanish. Also inland is the Jalon valley, a wine making region. In this area are many small villages each with its bar/restaurant serving good food at reasonable prices. The coast is a 20 min. car journey, here there are all the facilities of the Costa Blanca resorts and literally hundreds of restaurants and every type of activity. The house is an ideal location for a pool holiday or come either before July or after August when it is a little cooler to combine this with activities such as cycling, walking, climbing etc. If you wish to go on some great walks we will be happy to guide you.
